Sheet Pan Cajun Butter Shrimp is a simple and flavorful one-pan dish where juicy shrimp are tossed in a spicy Cajun butter sauce and roasted alongside colorful vegetables. It’s quick to prepare, bursting with bold flavors, and perfect for a hassle-free dinner with minimal cleanup.
½ cup (1 stick) butter, cubed and at room temperature
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Lemon wedges for serving (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Make the Cajun seasoning: In a small bowl, mix together the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, oregano, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and thyme.
Season the shrimp: Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and place them in a large bowl. Add the Cajun seasoning and olive oil. Toss well to evenly coat the shrimp.
Bake: Arrange the shrimp in a single layer on a sheet pan, making sure not to overcrowd. Bake for 8 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
Add the butter: While the pan is still hot, add the cubed butter and gently toss with the shrimp until melted and coated.
Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges, if desired. Delicious with rice, grits, buttered noodles, or even as a flavorful appetizer.
