- Can I use different noodles for this recipe?
If you don’t have instant ramen noodles, no worries! You can swap them out for any noodles you have on hand, like udon, soba, or even rice noodles. Just be sure to adjust the cooking time based on the type of noodles you choose. - How can I make this dish less spicy?
If you’re not a fan of heat, it’s easy to tone it down. Start with just a pinch of chili flakes and taste as you go. You can always add a bit more if you want to ramp up the spice! - Can I add protein or veggies to make it a heartier meal?
Of course! You can toss in some cooked chicken, shrimp, or tofu for protein. As for veggies, bell peppers, spinach, or mushrooms are great options. Just toss them in when you’re mixing everything together. - What if I don’t have sesame oil?
Sesame oil gives a lovely nutty flavor, but if you’re out of it, any neutral oil like vegetable or canola oil will work fine. You won’t get that same depth, but it’ll still taste great! - How can I make the sauce creamier without using heavy cream?
For a creamy touch without the cream, try using a little coconut milk or a splash of milk with butter. It’ll give you that silky texture without the heaviness.
